Inspired corsets- Making Project

This project was our first making project in my first year of university. We were tasked with making a garment inspired by any chosen time period and to create the piece with a modern twist. I chose to look at the Renaissance era, particularly at Renaissance paintings of the sky, their very particular use of colours I thought would look great on a garment. I decided on a colour scheme and used fabric paint and a sponge to create the desired effect.
